How effective are case studies in marketing?

If you’re like most people, one of the first things you do when you’re considering buying a new product or service is to check out the reviews (or ask someone you know has already purchased it). Case studies are like a review on steroids and are extremely effective in marketing.

Why does my customer need to approve the case study?

Case study best practices indicate that the customer should have the chance to approve their case study before it goes live. After all, the entire story is about them. It includes their quotes and potentially sensitive information about their company. Customers will be much more comfortable telling the story of working with you when they know they’ll be able to request changes.

What about the design?

Design is typically outside of my wheelhouse. I can refer you to a designer if you don’t already have one in-house.

You said I can use a case study again and again. What does that look like?

Case studies are versatile and, in many cases, evergreen unless the product or service you’re offering doesn’t exist anymore. Check out HubSpot’s article giving 16 different ways you can use your case study!

How long is a case study?

We will aim for a case study that is about 750-1000 words long. If you have a big story to tell, we can negotiate a different rate.
